Venue

The 3rd International Industrial Diamond Conference will be held at Le Meridien Etoile Hotel from April 16 - 17th 2009. The Meridien Etoile is centrally located in Paris at Porte Maillot opposite the Palais des Congres, close to the Arc de Triomphe and on the route between the Champs-Elysees and La Defense. With a total of 1025 rooms and a large conference centre, all amenities are conveniently located under one roof.

Travel

Most international and domestic flights for Paris arrive at Charles de Gaulle airport (CDG) and there is a direct Air France shuttle bus which departs every 15 minutes and stops across the road from the hotel (30-45 minutes duration depending on arrival time). The cost is under 10 euros. Transfer to the hotel is also available by metro (Porte Maillot is a few minutes walk away) and taxi.

In addition, several airlines serve Orly airport, which also has good public transport links to the centre of Paris.
